Local Knowledge is Everything
When travelling abroad or within your own country on holiday or for business purposes, most people will agree that it is so much better to be recommended Holiday Properties and Packages, Clubs, Music Venues, Restaurants and Unusual Places of Interest by friends that you trust and to be able to meet people that you know or to whom you have been introduced.
Local Know is a membership organisation (“The Local Know Community Club”, “LKCC”) which puts people in touch with each other to share Common Interests such as sporting, musical and cultural interests, business, other general interests and their travel experiences. Those owning properties abroad may wish to rent them to other members to whom they have spoken.

Who We Are
Local Know is a membership organisation (“The Local Know Community Club”) with an annual subscription which puts people in touch with each other to share sporting, musical and cultural interests, business and other general interests and to share their travel experiences both in The United Kingdom and abroad.
In particular, some Local Know Community Club members may own properties abroad and in order to cover overheads, are happy to rent out their properties occasionally to people they know well or they may have met through membership of The Local Know Community Club.

Upon joining The Local Know Community Club members are invited to provide details of all their interests as described in About Local Know with examples of members’ interests, their businesses and properties they own that they may wish to let out to other members for holidays.
Exclusive Networking
Local Know is not modelled on familiar social networking organisations as it is a subscription model giving it an exclusive feel, only attracting those who understand its objectives and who will then benefit from them.
Via Local Know’s forum, Local Know Community Club members will be able to communicate with each other and write posts which all members can view.
Property Letting
Local Know does not seek commissions from the letting of properties as rentals are arranged directly between the parties who typically will have arranged to meet prior to agreeing the detail.
Or even if a rental arrangement is not made, members might make contact and then subsequently meet at the holiday location where one or other party will have a very good local knowledge of where to go and what to do e.g. the fantastic village in the countryside or the superb restaurant which one might not normally find.
Travel Experiences
Read what other members have said about their travels all over the world and what recommendations they make about holiday flight/hotel packages and local knowledge of the area in which the hotel or another member’s rentable property is situated.
Special Offers
Local Know also invites members to suggest other ways in which it can provide benefits to all members.
For instance, members with their own businesses may wish to make special offers to other members for goods and services and Local Know will be approaching other suppliers for offers to Local Know members.
